I really didn't think I would finish this.
It’s been a HOT minute since I’ve fully completed an oil painting, but since this was a special request I know I just had to bust this one out.
Not only did it feel good to break my oil paints out again, but the excitement over the finished piece from My Creative Outlet brought so much joy to my heart.
I personally felt like I was in a creative rut for a long time. While I’ve enjoyed my marketing / graphic design jobs, I just didn’t feel like an artist anymore.
But since some life things have drastically changed (more on that later) I’ve decided life it too short to not chase after my dreams of being a full time artist.
